This program aims for the thinking and ability training of solving the problem in the open-source-based application and scientific research for undergraduates (freshmen, sophomores, juniors, and ), which may provide potential opportunities and lay a good foundation for high-quality employments and advanced researches.
- For freshmen: open-source-based learning and Training, e.g., Debian Linux, Python.
- For sophomores: Basic skills training for sci-research including literature retrieval (e.g. Google Scholar, PubMed) and reading, biological tools (e.g., Bioconductor, Rstudio, R, etc.) and bio-database (e.g., GEO, TCGA, KEGG, etc.)
- For seniors: research practice based on omics data including data management and construction using Drupal and Neo4j, comprehensive mining by collaborative analysis from omics data in the context of biological semantics (e.g. Knowledge Graph).
